I purchased this little "seed" pot years ago on the Acoma reservation near Albuquerque, New Mexico. I met the artist who made and painted the pot, Frances Concho, and thought how beautiful and intricate the design was and the unique utility it had to keep the mice away from the families seeds through the winter for the spring plantings.
